The Consumer Protection Act 2007 is the most comprehensive reform of consumer legislation in 30 years. The National Consumer Agency has published an overview of the Act to assist businesses in understanding its requirements. Download the overview (PDF, 236KB), or the full legislation (PDF, 562KB).

With a growing range of laws and regulations, it can sometimes be difficult to work out what your various rights and duties are as a business, particularly in terms of dealing with consumers.
